International Hydrogen Symposium

The North Chamber of Commerce and Industry (almalgamation of all North German Chambers of Commerce) and the Hamburg Hydrogen Society (founded 30 years ago) were the organizers.

More than 700 participants had registered. Framed by political prominence (Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein, Senator for Economic Aiffairs Hamburg ...) and accompanied by plenty of press, the framework in the Hamburg Chamber was, as always, very dignified.

The event underscores the importance of the topic - the state politicians emphatically demanded appropriate improvements from Berlin and want to make northern Germany a hydrogen region. A lecture from Groningen showed how this could be done, where the traditional focus on gas production and infrastructure is now being restructured - up to the use of hydrogen sweepers at the municipal level. Obviously Dr. Mischa Paterna from APEX Groud attended at this event.
